Ignis Circular is a Dorset-based waste management and recycling company. We collect, sort, recover and recycle — diverting material from landfill and giving it a second life.

Ignis Circular Ltd operates from the Canford Recycling Centre in Wimborne, Dorset, an MBT (Mechanical-Biological Treatment) facility designed to maximise resource recovery and minimise reliance on landfill. Waste is mechanically sorted to recover recyclable materials and extract as much value as possible from the waste stream.
Approximately 78% of our residual waste is processed into Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) for waste-to-energy recovery. This material is processed and baled for transport to approved waste-to-energy facilities, either through export markets or to local energy-recovery incinerators, where it is used as a fuel to generate energy.
A further approximately 21% is biologically treated, reducing the volume and impact of the remaining waste while supporting our commitment to responsible waste management. Only around 1% is ultimately sent to landfill, meaning approximately 99% of the waste we process is managed through energy recovery or biological treatment rather than conventional landfill disposal.
